Very shocked to hear about Brian, saw it in the Surrey Herald – had a nasty feeling it was him; am glad i got to meet him and see This Happy Breed and Angelfield play live. My condolences to all his friends & family.

so saddened to hear about Brian. the tribute page was just right. i have been contacting people who knew Brian when we were together and remembering the good times – including angelfield gigs. Love to you all at this sad time – fondest memories xxx

I came to this site following Brian’s tragic death, seeking consolation in his music. He seemed so happy in his work with the Phantoms but he rarely spoke of Angelfield. This site is a revelation – the downloads show a side to his music I hadn’t known about. So different and absolutely great. Brian’s words reveal him as a true poet. Such a great and overwhelmingly sad loss. My sincere condolences to all his family and his many friends.
The old angelfield website had a few Guestbooks over the years. The early ones vanished without trace. And one is still lurking there on the old website. I've transferred a few of the more recent messages on to this new page.
